Cubana International - Mug
Cubana was founded in October 1929 as Compañía Nacional Cubana de Aviación Curtiss, in association with the Curtiss aircraft manufacturer, making it one of Latin America's earliest airlines. In May 1945, Cubana became the first Latin American airline to offer scheduled passenger flights to Miami, using Douglas DC-3s. By 1954, its fleet included DC-3s, Lockheed Constellations, and other aircraft, and it launched services to Mexico City and Madrid. In 1959, Cuba's revolutionary government nationalized Cubana and merged it with private airlines Aerovías Q, Cuba Aeropostal, and Expreso Aéreo Interamericano.
