Pacific Northern Airlines (PNA) - Backpack

£40.73

Pacific Northern Airlines (PNA) was originally founded in 1932 as Woodley Airways, operating charter services in Alaska with a single plane. Based in Anchorage, the airline rebranded as Pacific Northern Airlines in 1945. PNA began competing with Northwest Airlines in 1947 on the Anchorage-Seattle route. In 1965, founder Art Woodley tried to purchase new Boeing 727 jets but was unable to secure financing, leading him to sell the airline. In 1967, PNA was acquired by Western Airlines and fully integrated by October.
